What is FAAST?

FAAST, which stands for Fax As A Service Technology, is a next generation fax service that lets you send and receive faxes anywhere in the world you have Internet access. We offer a cost effective, cloud-based fax service that will help you eliminate the hefty costs associated with traditional faxing.

How do I send a fax?

There are three ways:
     1.   Send an email message to faxnumber@faastsend.com, for example 3055551234@faastsend.com
     2.   Log into your FAAST account: https://login.faastfax.com
     3.   Download and install our IP Printer and print from any desktop application to FAAST (contact sales@faastfax.com for further details)

How do I receive a fax?

During the sign-up process, you can pick a fax number. Once that number is assigned to you, anyone in the world can send you a fax and you'll receive it into your email inbox. The fax can be a PDF or a TIF (a graphic image).

Do I need a phone line to send or receive a fax?

No, all you need is an internet connection. However, if you have an existing fax number and you'd like use it with FAAST, please contact our sales department: sales@faastfax.com

Do you have a free trial period?

Of course! When you sign up, we'll give you 15 days for free to try our service. You can cancel at any time.

What is your refund policy?

If you're not completely satisfied with our service, we'll refund the unused portion of your monthly subscription, no questions asked.

Do I need to sign a contract or commit to a term of service?

No.

Are there any set up fees?

No.

Why do you need my credit card info?

A credit card is required even for the trial period to guard against fraudulent use of FASST. As long as you do not exceed the trial period page limit, your card will not be charged. At the end of the 15-day trial period, if you do not cancel, your card will be charged the rate agreed upon with you monthly subscription.

When will I be able to send and receive faxes?

Immediately after completing the quick sign-up process, you can start faxing.

What email programs are you compatible with?

All of them.

Can I send multiple documents at a time?

Can I port or move my existing fax number to FAAST?

In most cases, yes. This depends entirely on your current provider. Please contact sales@faastfax.com for help with this.

Can I get a Toll-Free number?

Yes. We offer many 8xx toll free numbers for an additional $1.50 per month.

Will I get my own fax number?

During the brief sign-up process, you'll be prompted to select a fax number. You can choose from a large number of fax numbers across North America or a toll-free number, if you wish.

Can I send faxes from my smartphone or mobile device?

If you can send an email from your device, you can send a fax using FAAST.

How do I cancel my FAAST account?

Simply email sales@faastfax.com and we'll take care of it and email you when it's done.

How much does FAAST cost?

Our monthly plans start as low as $8.00 per month. See our Plans and Pricing.

How much does it cost to receive a fax?

Receiving faxes is free with your monthly subscription.

How much does it cost to send a fax?

Sending faxes is free with your monthly subscription.

How do I log into my account?

Go to login.faastfax.com and enter your username (your email address) and your password that we emailed you when you opened your account.

I cannot log into my account.

Go to http://login.faastfax.com. Below the Username and Password fields is, "Forgot your password? Recover it". Simply click on "Recover it" and follow the process. If you still cannot access your account, Please email support@faastfax.com and let us know the problem.

How do I change the email address on my account?

How do I change my password?

Login into your FAAST account, click Settings, then click Manage Password. Fill in the blanks and click Save.

How do I change my credit card number, billing information, etc.?

Log into your FAAST account, select Settings, then select Billing Information

How do I know when someone sends me a fax message?

You will receive an email with a PDF attachment from your FAAST account.

What file format will faxes be delivered in?

By default, faxes are delivered to your email address with the fax attached as a PDF. However, you can choose to have your faxes delivered as a TIF (a graphic image) attachment instead.

Can anyone send me a fax or do they have to be a FAAST subscriber?

You can give your FAAST fax number to anyone, anywhere in there world and they can fax you. They do not need a FAAST account.

What countries can I send faxes to?

Currently, the United States and Canada. However, as we grow the service, you will be able to fax to other countries around the world for an additional per page charge.

How secure is your website?

FAAST uses a standard SSL Server Certificate issued by GoDaddy. This provides us with High-grade Encrypation (AES-128, 128 bit keys). Out billing partner is Recurly and our credit card processing partner is Beanstream.
